Nicola asked a close friend to help her when it came to the wedding flowers. She chose dark red roses for the bouquets and calla lilies for the table centre pieces.
Thinking about her wedding budget, Nicola decided to opt for artificial wedding flowers as these were not only cost effective, but they could also be used again, or be given to guests to take home straight from the tables once the wedding came to an end.
Nicola and Chris held both their wedding ceremony and reception at Muckrach Lodge Nr Grantown-on-Spey, Morayshire. Chris booked this wedding venue with out showing Nicola, and decided that the old castle and shooting lodge style venue was just perfect to host a wedding party of 37. The couple made a ‘day’ of their wedding. They were getting married at 4pm, but offered Whiskey and Gluvine along with a breakfast buffet to their guests at around 11am to keep everyone full until the wedding breakfast commenced.
