Each of the female guests at Nicola and Andy’s wedding received a handmade snowflake, made from beads. The men received Thornton’s chocolate bars, wrapped to look like crackers.
A smart purple leather suitcase, filled with Christmassy baubles and decorated with gift tags that spelled out ‘Cards’, was left out for guests to leave gifts, messages and cards in.
The couple also had a fun table at the evening reception complete with Christmas party hats and glow sticks, which went down a storm with the guests.
There was plenty of entertainment at the wedding, with a magician performing tricks, a DJ playing a set, and Matt Johnson, from One True Voice, singing live. The three speeches were also very memorable – Nicola’s dad made jokes about the bride always wanting pink trainers as a child, before using the opportunity to present her with a pair!
