Natalie and Russell met at a work party one year, and were together for five years before Russell proposed on their fifth anniversary, by getting down on one knee at their home, completely surprising his bride to be. They had a traditional church wedding followed by a grand reception.
Natalie and Russell
Just before their five year anniversary, Natalie and Russell had enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Dubai. Natalie had been excitedly wondering if Russell might propose whilst they were away, but he knew he wanted to truly surprise her, so he kept her waiting just a little longer.
Once they were back at home, when Natalie had no inkling of what was going to happen, he got down on one knee to ask her to be his wife. It was the perfect surprise, and it meant so much more to Natalie that it had happened in a place that was so special to both of them – their home.
The excited bride-to-be began planning straight away, and the couple decided they wanted to cap off a brilliant 2012 by marrying in the same year as the Olympics and the Royal Jubilee. This gave them just seven months to plan the wedding of their dreams, complete with a traditional ceremony and a fairytale pink themed reception.
