The wedding ceremony took place at 1pm. The bride walked down the aisle with her father as her friend Elley played the piano. After bridesmaid Katy had walked down the aisle, she joined in on the flute in preparation for the bride’s entrance. They played I Due Tramonti’ by Ludovico Einaudi as each of the bridesmaids walked down the aisle separately.
The church’s youth band played music during the ceremony including In Christ Alone, Amazing Grace, One Thing Remains and Ten Thousand Reasons. During the ceremony, Nancy’s best male friend Ben gave a reading, alongside her aunt Jean and friend Miriam. Nancy and Ben exchanged engraved wedding rings bought from Argos under an amazing custom made book arch, made by Nancy’s friend Terry based on something she’d seen online. The happy couple were then pronounced husband and wife, in front of approximately 200 well-wishers!
