A woman from the church did the flowers for Ben and Nancy’s wedding. They picked a bright colour scheme for their flowers and décor, inspired by the flowers at the Olympic Park. The arrangements consisted of gerberas, orange thistle, spray chrysanthemums and more, including grasses from the florist’s garden. Nancy admits she knows very little about flowers, so she gave her free reign, and was delighted with the results.
Flowers in glass jars decorated the church whilst large arrangements added bursts of colour to the tables. The bride’s bouquet and the bridesmaids’ posies were all made of similar bright flowers.
