Nadia was very hands on when it came to decorating her wedding reception. She spent a long time creating her table plan, which consisted of a map of Manchester, centred on where they had their first date. There was a route planned out which led to the six table names.
Each of the tables at the wedding reception were named after a place in Manchester, and featured a picture of their namesake location in a frame. The tables were also decorated with single tulips in glass vases to add a spring feel to the décor.
Phil and Nadia felt that they didn’t need to do much in terms of decoration as the venue already had so much character. They did give out recovery kits as favours though – small organza bags filled with taxi numbers, mints, detox tea, recovery sachets and plasters inside with a little note!
