Monica knew she didn’t want a traditional wedding dress, but struggled to find a 1950s style wedding dress that was special enough. As the couple had invited their guests to join in with their retro dress code, she didn’t want to accidentally dress the same as a guest.
The bride headed to Beretun Designs Boutique in Brighton, and it was there she spotted an amazing circle dress covered in blue and red flowers. As soon as she tried it on, she knew she’d found the one. Two petticoats in contrasting shades of red and blue added even more of a wow factor to the striking dress.
Monica teamed her unusual wedding dress with Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes, retro sunglasses and quirky Etsy accessories. Her necklace was custom made by TheSpangledMaker on Etsy, and matched her dress and featured hers and Mark’s initials.
