The whole wedding took place at Fazeley studios, a restored chapel in the industrial area of Birmingham. It was the only venue the couple considered, and as soon as they came across the hidden treasure they knew they’d found the one!
The 75 day guests joined the newlyweds in enjoying a wedding breakfast that wasn’t so traditional – they opted to serve up a Caribbean inspired barbecue, and received a lot of compliments for it! Birdcages filled with flowers decorated the table, and floral bunting, tea cup candles and ‘Mez and Jay’ spelled out in large letters added to the décor.
Jars of retro sweets were dotted around, and each guest received a DIY paper aeroplane as a fun favour. There were also games such as giant Jenga and limbo in the courtyard for guests to enjoy, and a DIY photobooth which proved very popular.
