When it came to choosing her wedding dress, Melissa decided to choose a few bridalwear shops close to home in order to see what they had to offer. The bride-to-be was open minded when it came to finding the perfect wedding dress, but deep down she knew all along that it was a strapless, lace up dress that she wanted.
Melissa ended up trying on around 24 wedding dresses before finding a beauty designed by Ronald Joyce at A Day to Remember in Plymouth. The bride-to-be chose a big, princess dress featuring lots of layers and rushing on the waist. The dress was embellished with pearls and diamonds all over and Melissa felt like a true princess – which is also the nickname that Warren call’s her when they’re at home.
Melissa’s grandmother made her garter and she had diamante ‘I Do’ stickers on the bottom of her shoes, along with a lucky sixpence sewn onto one of the bows on one of her shoes for good luck.
