The newlywed couple chose to have a hog roast and buffet for their Wedding Breakfast. They felt it would suit everyone more than a set meal, and as it turns out, it was perfect. For the evening reception a selection of posh bacon and sausage sandwiches, nibbles like chicken satay, crab cakes and wedding cake were served; food you can’t beat when you’ve had a few drinks!
Each table had a round mirror plate in the centre with a glass vase filled with flowers to match the wedding colour scheme. T-light candles were placed on the mirror plates in glass holders, and petals were scattered around the tables to add fragrance and colour. Melissa made the place settings herself from ivory card with sage green bows on each to follow the theme of the wedding invitations.
