The ceremony and following wedding reception all took place at the Montagu Arms Hotel, in Beaulieu. The small hotel boasts beautiful gardens and a Michelin-starred restaurant where Megan and Mark had previously celebrated an anniversary.
Megan and her mum viewed around 20 different venues, narrowing it down to a shortlist of three, which she then viewed again with Mark. The Montagu Arms was the clear winner, and handmade invitations were sent out to 60 guests, with a further forty receiving evening invites.
When browsing through venue brochures, Megan spotted a colour scheme of emerald green and fiery orange, and knew she wanted to decorate her wedding with those colours. The unusual combination worked well with the warm wooden décor at the venue.
