Lucy chose an elegant Maggie Sottero wedding dress which had a twist on the traditional style of bridal gown. It was made from a lightweight fabric and featured a daring split in the skirt. The glittering shoulder straps led to an on-trend keyhole back, which the bride could show off easily due to her cropped hairstyle.
The bride tried on around 30 dresses in her quest to find the perfect one. She chose her gown as she wanted to surprise everyone with something they didn’t think she would choose. She also knew Alan was thinking she’d go for something plain so she wanted to dazzle him with some sparkle.
A side headband and simple jewellery completed her look, and she carried a glittering brooch bouquet which was made for her by Alan’s step-mum.
Lucy asked her sister and her best friend to be bridesmaids, and they wore elegant floor-length gowns in a mink shade. Pretty pastel corsages finished off their look perfectly.
