A cool, light-up ‘FUN’ sign was made by some very talented friends of the bride and groom’s, and was placed in front of the stage. It now takes pride of place on the couple’s balcony as a fabulous reminder of their special day.
Guests enjoyed a bangers and mash wedding breakfast, and the favours were little jars of chutney, jam and marmalade, made by Lucy’s mum. The décor was very random; there was no set theme. A wooden bar made out of old ladders, light bulbs and floorboards was set up next to an old sofa and giant ‘YES’ letters, sourced from a jumble sale. Adam and Lucy’s campervan was parked onsite and transformed into a mini disco too. They even cut into a VW Camper shaped wedding cake, made for them by a friend.
After their wonderfully different wedding, Lucy and Adam honeymooned on a riverboat and even paid an exciting visit to Thorpe Park as honeymooners!
