Louise and Steven sliced through a pina colada flavoured wedding cake which was turquoise in colour and featured pretty edible gold beads. Orchids and rose petals cascaded down the side of the cake and everyone enjoyed a slice with coffee after the wedding breakfast. The small wedding party also enjoyed several glasses of Champagne and Caribbean rum until all of the bottles were empty.
At their party in the UK, after returning home from the Bahamas as husband and wife, Louise and Steven decorated their venue with inflatable pink flamingos and palm trees, in order to re-create a tropical Caribbean atmosphere. They also featured a slide-show of their wedding story on a large TV screen throughout the evening.
Louise commented that their wedding prize and experience was, “all in all a truly wonderful, magical day that we shall never forget.”
