Louise knew that she wanted to wear a purple dress on her wedding day, but struggled to find something appropriate in regular bridalwear shops or on the high street. In the end Louise found a wonderful dress maker who designed a purple gown to the exact spec that Louise had imagined all along. Helen at Amor Corsets designed a unique and very beautiful ballgown style dress for Louise which guests related to the movie’s ‘Gone with the Wind’ and ‘Wuthering Heights’. The dress had originally been inspired by one of Louise’s favourite artists, Victoria Frances.
Louise hired professional hair and make-up artist Emma O’Regan to help complete her overall bridal look. Louise had one trial before her wedding and then had Emma did her hair and make-up on the morning of the wedding – which looked great and held perfectly throughout the day. Emma put hair extensions in to Louise’s hair and created a half-up, half-down look, based on some bohemian styles that the bride-to-be had seen during her wedding preparations.
