The pair had told their guests there would be an outdoor blessing, but didn’t go into specifics, so they gave a brief history lesson on the origin and meaning of the hand-fasting ceremony. The hand-fasting was very meaningful, and full of love, honesty and emotion. The couple even performed the ancient ritual of jumping the broom!
