The wedding reception, which was attended by 97 guests in the day and a further 40 in the evening, took place at Glen Tanar Ballroom. Lisa and Phil loved their wedding venue, and especially loved that they had family connections to it, as Phil’s great-granddad had worked there as a forester.
They decorated their wedding reception with a pretty vintage theme and used elegant flowers, mismatched vintage china and blackboards to add to the décor.
Each table at the reception was named after a place that meant something to the couple, and the table names were artfully displayed on blackboards. The bride and groom left out favours for their guests in the form of mini Harris Tweed keyrings and miniature sporrans.
In the evening the couple and their guests danced to a band, Starsky, and enjoyed a delicious hog roast.
