The London couple chose a venue closer to Lisa’s parents in Hampshire than their home in Enfield. They chose Highfield Park as it has stunning grounds and a historical feel with period features.
During the ceremony, there were readings from David’s childhood friend Bianca, who read What is Love, and Lisa’s close friend Helen, who read Marriage, along with light-hearted and entertaining input from the registars.
The guests were introduced to Lisa and David’s love all of things historical through the table names which were titled after Civil War battle sites. They enjoyed a three course wedding breakfast followed by an evening buffet and had their first dance to How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding, a great song choice.
The newleyweds praised the helpful staff at Highfield Park for their impeccable service. They chose to enlist the help for Highfield Park’s event manager to run their day so that they had nothing to worry about and could enjoy their day to the fullest.
