Lisa & David’s Real Wedding

Lisa and David were firm friends before they started a relationship. After a few years together, David proposed (with a little prompting from Lisa!), whilst they were on holiday in Glasgow. They had a lovely Hampshire wedding that took place a year later and both the ceremony and reception were held at 17th century mansion, Highfield Park. They honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico and flew with Virgin Atlantic.

History in the Making

History buffs Lisa and David met through the English Civil War Society. Both being members of Sir Marmaduke Rawdon’s regiment, they found they had a lot in common and eventually got together in 2010.

Two years later they’d moved in together, and in 2013 David popped the question whilst on a romantic getaway in Scotland. Lisa was thrilled with her engagement ring, as it belonged to her future hubby’s grandmother and held a lot of sentimental value. After David’s not so surprise proposal, and between battling rival regiments, the couple planned a wedding that friends and family would never forget. Both Lisa and David knew that they wanted a short engagement, so they set the date for April 26th 2014.
