The couple decided to serve up a barbecue to their guests as their wedding breakfast. This was because it was the best way to make the most of the local produce from the barn, and it meant they could have a range of different meats, rather than just choosing one.
The barbecue was accompanied by a buffet, and luckily the weather was nice enough for it to be enjoyed outside, in the lovely garden at Oak Barn. A dessert buffet followed after the wedding breakfast, and guests were able to choose from a range of desserts.
Rather than buy favours for their guests, Scott and Liesbet decided to put the money towards having an open bar and free transport to get everyone from the ceremony to the reception.
