Lauren and Duncan first met whilst studying photography at college, when Lauren was in her first year and Duncan was a second year. The couple had been together for four months and were crazily in love when Duncan proposed with a quiet, low-key proposal in his flat.
He picked out a ring for Lauren and they began planning a wedding to take place in two years’ time, but brought it forward by 16 months to feature on Channel 5’s ‘Baby Face Brides’, marrying when Lauren was 18 and Duncan was 19.
Duncan couldn’t wait to call Lauren his wife, and she knew she was old enough to know what she wanted. A traditional church wedding was followed by a reception for 120 guests at the Roundthorn Country House, decorated with a pretty sky blue colour scheme.
