As Lauren and Alex are from different religions, they decided to have a civil ceremony so it was just about the two of them and their love.
Lauren walked down the aisle with her father as Nat King Cole’s ‘When I Fall in Love’ played. It was her grandpa’s favourite song and she always imagined it being the soundtrack to such a special moment. The bride carried a vibrant bouquet of orange and purple blooms.
The ceremony involved two readings; one was a hilarious rendition of the Bee Rawlinson poem ‘Love Me When I’m Old and Shocking’, which had the guests crying with laughter.
