Laura walked down the aisle with her dad as her sisters, who had already walked down the aisle, sang ‘At Last’ by Etta James. Having her sisters sing made the walk even more personal and touching and they couldn’t have sung more beautifully. The bride carried a beautiful, vintage inspired bouquet of pastel coloured flowers such as hydrangeas and roses, with lots of gypsophila as she walked towards her future husband.
The personal touches continued at the ceremony, as Laura’s brother Owen, her cousin Sarah and her husband Phil read out ‘The Lovely Dinosaur’, and got a few giggles as they really made it their own.
The lighthearted reading help to make Laura and Tim feel at ease when they exchanged rings, which they’d designed and made for each other at a workshop a month before.
