Laura and Tim first met when they were working in Serbia at the embassy. Tim proposed with a yellow diamond and the couple married at Shortmead House in front of 73 guests, including their two daughters. They celebrated with a vintage themed reception at a village hall.
The Bride and Groom
In September 2009, Laura started a new job in Serbia, working as a PA to the ambassador. Tim had been hired to carry out renovation work on the embassy building, and as soon as Laura spotted him she made a beeline for him!
The couple had a baby daughter, Millie, together and in January 2013, Tim presented Laura with a yellow diamond, which she designed the setting for. He spelt out ‘Will you marry me’ in rose petals on their bed, and had flowers, chocolates and champagne ready.
The couple welcomed a second daughter, Pip, during their engagement, and planned a pretty, vintage themed wedding which was attended by 73 of their closest friends and family, with a further 30 guests joining the party in the evening.
