The wedding venue, Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, was the ideal choice for the couple as it was slightly different and had an abundance of space and photo opportunities.
Although to begin with it was the couples ‘wildcard’ when they were first searching for venues, they immediately fell in love with the picturesque acres of land and the ambience of the wine estate.
The vineyard itself was Laura and Carl’s favourite thing about their venue. They married in September so the weather was perfect and the vines were in full bloom, which made the land look very green.
When some of the guests went for a wander around the estate’s land, they even commented that they felt like they were in France or Italy!
The wedding party sat down in the glass, pyramid shaped conservatory to enjoy the delicious three course meal.
The feast consisted of ham and chicken terrine, salad, roast lamb, seasonal vegetables and salmon. There was even chocolate tart with raspberry coulis for dessert!
Laura and Carl were full of praise for the venue’s wedding co-ordinator who assisted them in the planning for their celebration, as well as the staff who were there to help on the actual day.
