For her gorgeous flowers Laura hired a local florist called Rafflesia who created a stunning bouquet of pink peonies and blue hydrangea. The bridesmaids carried giant bouquets of gypsophilia which looked like clouds, and Laura’s mother created all of the floral arrangements for the church ceremony.
Laura and Ben decided to make the most of their day by getting married early in the afternoon. Their 12:30pm ceremony took place at a local church in the village of Crantock in Cornwall. The couple were familiar with the parish, having lived there before, and the location was just beautiful for their summer wedding.
After walking down the aisle to ‘Here comes the bride’, the couple said their vows and listened with passion to a poem called ‘What is love’ from the childhood book The Velveteen Rabbit. After exchanging rings that they’d had made bespoke by a jeweller in Manchester, Slack and Andrews, the couple were pronounced husband and wife in front of their 100 guests.
