Andrew and Laura’s four tiered, snowflake themed wedding cake was made for them by Laura’s auntie. It consisted of a classic fruit cake tier, a Victoria sponge tier, a chocolate tier and a lemon flavoured tier, to make sure there was something for everyone.
The wedding cake was covered in ivory icing which had dusted with a fine shimmer powder to give it a pearlescent look, and was decorated with snowflakes and royal blue ribbons. It was served to the 160 guests at the evening reception.
The week after their winter wedding, the newlyweds escaped to the sun in a twin centre honeymoon, which took in Havana, Cuba and Cayo Coco. They mixed 5* luxury, lobster and exotic cocktails with exploring the fast paced city of Havana, before returning home to begin a new chapter as husband and wife!
