Chris and Lara hired Weddings on a Whim to style their wedding ceremony. They chose to have a heart marked out in the sand, with a floral arch and starfish detailing.
Lara walked down the aisle with her father to the sound of ‘Marry Me’ by Train played by an acoustic guitarist. The ceremony began at 6.45pm just before the sun was due to go down. The wedding ceremony took place on Treasure Island Beach behind the Sunset Vistas Condo hotel where they were staying.
They picked their own vows from a selection sent to them by Weddings on a Whim, and after saying these to each other they exchanged rings bought from the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.
After being pronounced husband and wife in front of their six guests, the newlyweds posed for pictures as the sun set, before heading to a restaurant for a celebratory meal.
