Krystyna picked a vintage inspired colour scheme of soft peaches and lilacs to decorate the wedding reception with. The barn was decorated with homemade bunting, and a seaside cutout board for guests to pose in was a tribute to the seaside town where Joe and Krystyna met and got engaged.
They also included a sweet table to satisfy the guests’ sweet cravings, and provided homemade elder flower cordial. Twinkling fairy lights and lots of family photos added to the homely feel.
Each of the tables, which were named after songs, was decorated with vintage style jugs filled with hydrangeas. Krystyna trusted the florist who had decorated her sister’s wedding to take care of the floral arrangements as she knew firsthand how good her work was!
The bride and groom made sure their guests were entertained at the reception with a quiz between the courses, masterminded by Joe’s friend Ali.
