Kitty and her father arrived at the wedding ceremony in a black, 1957 vintage Rolls Royce Silver Cloud that had been hired from Silver Lady Wedding Cars. It was the perfect way to roll up to not one, but two wedding ceremonies that Kitty and Dale had planned.
The first wedding ceremony was held at 4:30pm at the Crown and Mitre Hotel in Carlisle, and the second blessing was at the St. Cuthberts Church, just around the corner, so that it was easy for their 120 wedding guests to travel back and forth.
Dale’s father read an Apache wedding blessing that had been sent to the couple by Kitty’s great Aunt who unfortunately couldn’t attend the wedding; it was a lovely touch. The couple exchanged wedding rings that they’d purchased at Goldsmiths and were pronounced husband and wife before having all of their guests travel back to the original venue, The Crown and Mitre Hotel in Carlisle to celebrate.
