The mouth-watering cake was made by the talented Kitty and almost looked too good to eat!
It was a large four tiered creation decorated with sugar flowers and blush pink and white icing. Gold leaf accents gave a nod to the colour scheme and looked divine.
Along with the tiered cake there was also an amazing ‘Back to the Future’ themed Groom’s cake and 250 raspberry macaroons decorated with the letters ‘C’ or ‘K’ in gold. The macaroons certainly went down a storm!
For a thoughtful touch, Kitty and Chris donated on their guests behalf to the Himalaya Trust UK and gave each person a roll of prayer flags to take home.
Children were treated to colouring books, magic trick boxes and crochet stuffed animals made by Kitty.
After the meal, Chris and Kitty enjoyed their first dance to ‘Your Song’ by Ewan McGregor. The couple were originally going to do a heavily choreographed dance number, but they were happy they got to have a ‘normal’ first dance and enjoyed it without the pressure of having to remember any complex moves!
Once the first dance was done a DJ got everyone onto the dance floor where they partied into the evening!
