Kelly-Ann and Stuart had a traditional looking, single tier, iced cake to cut through, but also had pretty cupcakes iced with a pale pink swirl of butter cream. The cakes were decorated with small ivory flags, accessorised with a tiny pink bow, which read: ‘Love is Sweet’. The shabby-chic flags were ordered from a company called ‘Vintage Twee’, which also supplied the table numbers.
The newlyweds shared their first dance to the romantic ‘Crazy Love’ by Michael Bublé, and then the bride danced with her father to ‘Three Times a Lady’ by Lionel Richie. The guests were visibly moved by this emotional moment.
Following their big fat Greek wedding, the couple moved on to spend two weeks relaxing in a hotel. They advise taking 20 minutes out on your big day to enjoy a glass of champagne in silence with your spouse, absorbing the event as it speeds by.
