The couple had a traditional Church of England ceremony at 1.30pm, at their sweet local village church. Kaye was walked down the aisle by her proud dad, to ‘Cannon D’ by Pachelbel before the congregation sang ‘Bread of Heaven’ and ‘Morning Has Broken’. The ceremony was completed with touching readings from aunty Sharon and Godfather Lawrence.
The bridesmaids were Kaye’s cousin, son’s Godmother and best friend, whilst her sister-in-law took charge as Maid of Honour. They were pretty in pink, each wearing Grecian style Debut at Debenhams floor length gowns, with a flattering cross over front and diamante brooch. The ladies were also treated to beautiful vintage Jenny Packham necklaces to add a little sparkle to their outfits.
The groomsmen hired their suits from trusted supplier Dyfed Menswear. Kaye didn’t have any input on Simon’s choice, but instead her dad gave him a helping hand. They looked dapper in traditional morning suits, with silver waist coats and ties to compliment the colour scheme.
