The couple’s beautiful venue had some personal touches in the form of a black and white picture of Kaye’s great grandparents, Joseph and Rose, that was framed in a vintage style surround. Kaye also pinned two charms that her great grandfather had given to her great grandmother as a gift on their wedding day during WW1, inside her wedding dress for good luck! Simon and Kaye had a wish tree with handmade guest labels and a post box for gifts and cards.
In the evening, guests were entertained by a harpist to enhance the romantic atmosphere and add to the classic look of the event. There were three speeches during the night, from Kaye’s dad, the groom and his best man, all of which were full of emotion, tears and laughter.
The guests then let loose in the evening with Marryoke, a great band called ‘Session’ from Cardiff and a fun photobooth from Ultrabooth photography providing some fun snaps. Talented videographer Craig Walters of Cherished Memories Video Productions was there to capture all of the fun on camera too.
