Floral Wedding Cake
Katryna’s mum gave a speech which resulted in tears and laughter, and Louren, who is petrified of public speaking, also did a great job. After everyone had finished eating and listening to the wonderful speeches, it was time to cut the cake.
The newlyweds cut into a three tiered, round wedding cake, made by Elaine at Janeymac Cakes. Two tiers were made from vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream, whilst one was decadent chocolate with double chocolate ganache. The beautiful cake was decorated with realistic sugar flowers that matched the wedding flowers and colour scheme.
After the evening party, where everyone danced to Disco Fever and Alice Band, the bride and groom headed to Santorini for a romantic honeymoon. They began married life the best way possible – with a mix of sunbathing, sunset cruises and wine tasting!
