Kevin and Katie opted for a traditional, three tier wedding cake, which was decorated with dainty dots and sugar flowers in sage green and pastel pink. The wedding cake was made very quirky with the addition of icing zombies, who climbed the cake. The cake topper consisted of Kevin and Katie in all their wedding finery, armed with a shot gun and a chainsaw to keep the zombies at bay. Each tier of the unusual wedding cake had a different filling – chocolate and cherry, vanilla and lemon. The couple bought their different wedding cake from The Honeybunch Cake Company, and served it up as dessert following the wedding breakfast.
After their family orientated, sage green themed wedding, Kevin and Katie went on honeymoon to Mexico for a week. They didn’t want to stay away any longer as they’d miss their daughters, but they did enjoy some time alone as husband and wife!
