Katie and Ian had a 2 year and 3 month gap between getting engaged and tying the knot, so this gave the bride-to-be plenty of time to admire her lemon diamond engagement ring and choose a gorgeous wedding dress. Katie began her search online, browsing through galleries of popular designer wedding dresses before ordering a dream, Benjamin Roberts wedding dress from a bridalwear shop in Liverpool. Sadly, the bridalwear shop went into administration shortly after Katie had paid a 50% deposit, but Karen Taft, owner of Benjamin Roberts came to the rescue and re-assured the bride that her wedding dress would be ordered and delivered on time. Karen even invited Katie and her mother to the Benjamin Roberts studio in Swansea for lunch, a tour and a dress fitting. It was an amazing day and Katie was truly grateful.
Nearer the time of her wedding, the Benjamin Roberts gown that Katie had chosen was delivered to Brides by Natalie in Liverpool. Katie teamed her wedding dress up with a pair of Swarovski encrusted shoes from Benjamin Adams, her nan’s guardian angel pin and her mother’s Swarovski bangle as her ‘something borrowed’.
