Kathy booked tickets to the National Wedding Show at the NEC in Birmingham and decided that she would wait until then before she started looking for a dress. She thought it would be easier to see all of the wedding dress options under one roof as apposed to trawling through several bridalwear shops in between her lunch hours. The bride-to-be tried on about 8 different dresses before making a quick decision on a Benjamin Roberts gown.
Because her gown was bought in haste Kathy worried that she had not browsed every possible avenue when it came to finding the ultimate wedding dress; but as it turns out her dress was perfect on the day.
To tie her dress in with the ‘crystals and love’ wedding theme, Kathy customised the gown herself by gluing hundreds of tiny Swarovski crystals to the rose petals. This made the dress feel totally unique and special to Kathy; not to mention that she loves anything that sparkles and it wouldn’t have felt right with out some bling!
