The cake was made by the proud father of the bride! Kathryn and Trevor were honoured by Kathryn’s dad’s generous offer, and the gorgeous cake took pride of place at their reception. The cake was a traditional, white iced, three tiered, fruit cake, with a spare Amaretto sponge tier, made to guarantee everyone got a good sized piece!
The cake was served with coffee after the wedding breakfast and by the end of the night there was hardly any left!
After the wedding, the couple returned to work for a couple of weeks, before going to Scotland for five days during half-term. They stayed at the luxurious Lovat in Fort Augustus, in the honeymoon suite, and enjoyed the breath taking countryside and romantic walks, revelling in the fact they were now man and wife! Kathryn couldn’t have been happier with her wedding, remarking: “Everything was perfect from start to finish”.
