Kathryn & Trevor’s Real Wedding

Kathryn and Trevor had been together for 11 years when Trevor popped the question whilst on a romantic trip to Paris. An excited Kathryn gladly accepted, and the couple planned a long engagement, in order to save up, but quickly decided to shorten it so they could marry sooner!

The Ceremony

Kathryn and Trevor got married at 2pm at Smeetham Hall Barn in Sudbury, Suffolk. Kathryn had loved the venue from the moment they first visited, whilst on a weekend away, so she was delighted to say her vows there. The bride walked down the aisle to the sound of ‘Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini’ by Rachmaninov with her father, before exchanging handmade rings with Trevor. The couple bought their rings from a family run jeweller’s, called The Jewellery Studio, and had them made to suit their specifications.

In place of hymns, the couple had ‘And I Love Her’ by the Beatles and ‘You Got It’ by Roy Orbison, before exiting to ‘Hard Sun’ by Eddie Vedder.

The 96 guests that attended the ceremony had all received elegant invitations handmade and designed by Kathryn. The wedding stationery incorporated the delicate colour scheme and the bird theme of the wedding.
