Kathryn and Trevor had been together for 11 years when Trevor popped the question whilst on a romantic trip to Paris. An excited Kathryn gladly accepted, and the couple planned a long engagement, in order to save up, but quickly decided to shorten it so they could marry sooner!
Mr and Mrs
Trevor had organised a trip to Paris as a Christmas present for his girlfriend of over a decade, as she’d always longed to go there. After a day of sightseeing at Notre Dame, and dinner at a tiny Parisian bistro, Trevor suggested a late night stroll in the park. However, Kathryn was keen to head back to the hotel as she was tired, so she suggested going for a walk the following day.
Trevor reluctantly agreed, putting his secret proposal on hold…until they got back to the hotel, and he got down on one knee in the room. He decided he couldn’t wait any longer, and it didn’t matter where it happened, as long as it did!
Kathryn couldn’t believe what was happening and didn’t take him seriously until he pulled out the perfect ring that he had chosen himself! They spent the next 18 months planning their dream day.
