Both the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception were held at Ettington Park. Kathryn’s dad walked her down the aisle at 3.30pm to Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros and Kathryn’s friend Jenny did the reading. They had studied English Literature together at university and Kathryn had done a reading at her wedding the previous summer. It meant a lot to Kathryn that Jenny could do the reading at the ceremony.
Kathryn and Karl walked back down the aisle to a violin instrumental of Mr Brightside by the Killers...not a terribly romantic song but when played on the violin it seems to work!
Kathryn once again had made the table seating plan that sat at the entrance of the wedding breakfast. She painted a large canvas purple and then glued down 7 pages from a book, one for each table. On top of each book page she glued down a piece of cream paper in the centre and wrote the names in purple pen. Each sheet had the purple flowers with cream bows to match the place cards.
