Kathryn knew she wanted lace to feature in her wedding dress design, but other than that she had no idea what sort of style or shape of wedding dress she wanted. She tried on her first wedding dress, and realised it was exactly what she was looking for! She tried on several more just to be sure of her decision, but none of them could compete with the Blanka Dorell dress, bought from White Leaf Boutique in Brighton.
The bride adored the unusual keyhole back and beautiful long ribbon which made her dress stand out. Kathryn had a piece of her grandmother’s family tartan – which had the all-important blue running through it – sewn in a heart shape into the lining of her dress. She also had a lucky penny belonging to her great-grandfather as her something old.
Kathryn’s sister was her only bridesmaid, and wore a navy blue, silk dress which she’d picked out in Australia.
