Kate & Nick’s Real Wedding

* Benjamin Roberts Bride of the Month, February 2012 * Kate and Nick were married at 2pm on September 24th, 2011, after having spent the previous 12 months planning their special day.  Their simple and elegant wedding theme was decorated with hints of ivory and sage green throughout.  The couple spent their honeymoon in the Far East and wouldn’t have changed a thing about their big day, besides hiring a wedding videographer!

The Fabulous Dress

Kate thought she knew what type of gown she wanted to wear on her wedding day, but as it turns out, she didn’t. She browsed online and flicked through several magazines looking for dresses she liked, before visiting four different bridal boutiques and trying on at least 15 different gowns.  It wasn’t until she visited Cheshire Bridalwear in Goose Green that she found the wedding dress of her dreams.

With the support and help of Julie Blackburn and her team, Kate managed to find a dress that flattered her figure and made her feel unlike any of the other dresses she had tried on.  Kate’s chosen gown was style 912 from Benjamin Roberts Gorgeous with Curves collection.  The fabric was luxurious and the intricate beading gave the dress a subtle amount of sparkle.  The dress was also extremely comfortable, which is a huge component to consider when choosing a wedding dress.

Kate had her hair styled and her make-up applied by Danielle Horan and she teamed her dress up with some fabulous Kurt Geiger stilettos.
