The Old Hall at Queen’s College was the perfect option for Kate and Mark when it came to planning their wedding reception. They didn’t even look at or consider any other wedding venue. They wanted the entire day to be fun and relaxing for all of their guests, without lengthy journeys from one venue to the next. They also wanted to work with staff who were going to help them get the wedding they had always dreamed about.
Long tables lined one of the rooms in the historic venue, but seeing as there was so much character to the room, Kate didn’t feel the need to decorate her wedding reception tables too elaborately.
Kate’s brother’s fiancé (who is incredibly creative) made the most amazing little figurines of the newlywed couple, which were placed on each of the evening reception tables in amongst tea light candles, circular table mirrors and table crystals. They looked fantastic and were one of the talking points of the evening.
