Due to her pale complexion Kate was worried about wearing a white wedding dress, but after visiting Mignonette, a well established bridalwear shop in Bedfordshire, Kate was able to find the wedding dress of her dreams – within just a 3 month time span. Kate wore an elegant design by Maggie Sottero called Charlize which only needed minimal adjustments. The dress had a gorgeous train and was cinched in at the waist, giving Kate a lovely shape. To compliment her stunning dress, and the style of her wedding, Kate decided to wear a long Joyce Jackson ‘Canberra veil’ and a pair of pretty shoes from Rainbow Club. Professional beauty specialist Lynne Butterworth helped Kate with her hair and make-up on the morning of the big day.
Kate chose her sister to act as her Maid of Honour and support. Not only did she throw an amazing Hen Party for Kate, but she also made sure that her sister was feeling calm and collected before and after the wedding ceremony. Kate’s sister wore a sharp, royal blue coloured dress which came from Debenhams, along with a sparkly pair of shoes from Office.
