Matthew and Karen chose to have their ceremony and reception all in one place, Tankersley Manor Hotel. This made it easier for travelling guests to stay all in one place.
The couple wanted an informal and relaxed feel at their wedding, so they chose to serve a hog roast wedding breakfast, accompanied with chunky chips. They followed this with their wedding cake for dessert. Canapés were served just after the ceremony, and at 10pm bacon sandwiches were dished out to guests with the munchies.
The wedding venue was decorated with a navy and white colour scheme, the guests had received unique wedding invitations, which had come from Karen and Matthew’s two year old son.
