Matthew and Karen chose a traditional, three tiered wedding cake with a twist. The classic cake was brought to life using pictures of Karen, Matthew and their son, coloured with a blue tint so it matched the wedding theme. It was a great way to include Emerson in another part of their day.
The cake featured a classic fruit cake tier, a chocolate sponge tier and a tier of vanilla sponge, and was served as dessert following the wedding breakfast. The delicious cake was created by Amanda’s Cakes.
Following their classic and family themed wedding, Karen and Matthew celebrated their marriage with a mini-moon at a luxury hotel, enjoying some time alone together.
This was followed by a two week family holiday to Tenerife, where they newlyweds got to spend quality time with their son and relax in luxury settings.
