Karen & Matt’s Real Wedding

Karen wanted her wedding day to be the perfect way to show family and friends that Matt was the man she loved and that they had chosen each other to be with forever. To top it off, the history teacher chose the historical Hedingham Castle in Essex as the setting to her special day. In front of eighty four wedding guests, Karen and Matt made their own piece of history, 6 months after they were engaged.

Special Touches

On each table, each guest had a named favour box which served not only as a memento of the day but as a place card too. Clever idea and very attractive to boot!

Each box contained parma violets and purple sweets. On top was a smaller ivory box with a heart shaped lid. This held a heart shaped parma violet soap and a good luck sixpence.

To add to their special touches, Karen and Matt also displayed a double photo of both sets of parents and a full size photo tree with lots of fun and pictures of the couple before their wedding day! Matt’s granddad, Charlie, also made a wishing well out of wood which is a lovely keepsake for the couple to have as they share their lives together.
