Karen & Matt’s Real Wedding

Karen wanted her wedding day to be the perfect way to show family and friends that Matt was the man she loved and that they had chosen each other to be with forever. To top it off, the history teacher chose the historical Hedingham Castle in Essex as the setting to her special day. In front of eighty four wedding guests, Karen and Matt made their own piece of history, 6 months after they were engaged.

The Dress

Karen tried on twenty dresses before choosing the (last) one which made her feel like a princess! And by chance, the style of dress was given the name of the city where Matt proposed, Prague, adding even more romance to the occasion!

The strapless dress had beautiful, delicate embroidered detail around the bodice with added gems which glittered in the light. The detail was also followed through to the tale of the dress which extended from a full skirt.

Karen wore a purple necklace which was an 18th birthday present given to her by her mum’s best friend and under her dress she wore a blue butterfly which belonged to her Nana who had passed away. Doing this, Karen felt that her Nana was with her on her special day.
